Fiesta River Parade

Every year around this time San Antonio celebrates Fiesta. Fiesta is a "party with a purpose" every event  helps to raise money for different charities that then provides them with funding through out the year. This year I was lucky to attend Oyster Bake- a huge carnival that raises money for the university I attend, South West School of Art and Craft- Craft Fair, and The Fiesta River Night Parade.  The weather was gorgeous and it was great time to spend with my family on the river!

Fun floats are the best! The YMCA had a float with dancing letters! Too cute!

Obsessed with Lilly Pulitzer's Shoe Ottomon!

Real Simple magazine this month (May 2011) is a fantastic issue. It has amazing tips on how to beat bad moods- perfect for us college kids with the semester ending, and so many other great features such as mother's day ideas! Also featured under trends is a new piece of furniture from the Lilly Pulitzer furniture line! I have been a long time lover of Lilly but this Ottomon takes the cake!

NPR music series
